Join us for FLEET Meetup #31, where we’ll preview upcoming improvements in the Pool Vehicle Booking System (PVBS), focusing on two common operational pain points councils have raised: repeat bookings and a new costing model.

What we’ll cover

1) Repeat bookings (how it works)
We’ll explore a practical approach to recurring bookings in PVBS, including:

  • Creating repeating bookings (e.g., regular cross-site meetings, stakeholder meetings, routine inspections)
  • Handling exceptions (vehicle out-of-service, clashes)
  • New configuration options to customise repeat booking rules to individual council needs

2) New costing model (what it should enable)
We’ll workshop clearer ways to apply and report booking costs, including:

  • Smarter charging options (per hour / per day, or blended)
  • Control of charging options by vehicle
  • Better oversight and control of costs charged
  • Reporting outputs that matter most to fleet teams and finance
