Purpose
This policy outlines Formbird’s commitment to raising awareness and understanding of human rights among employees, contractors, and leadership. It supports our broader Human Rights and ESG commitments by ensuring that all staff are aware of their obligations and the company’s values regarding ethical conduct, fair labour, and workplace respect.
Scope
This policy applies to all Formbird employees, contractors, and service providers, including part-time and remote workers, across all locations where the company operates.
Policy Statement
Formbird is committed to ensuring that all staff understand:
- The fundamental principles of human rights and workplace equality
- The contents and expectations of Formbird’s Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Policies
- The risks of modern slavery, forced labour, and discrimination in the workplace and supply chain
- Their personal and professional responsibilities to uphold these values
Training Objectives
The Human Rights Awareness Training will:
- Introduce the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
- Explain how human rights relate to Formbird’s operations, culture, and supply chain
- Provide scenarios to identify potential breaches (e.g. discriminatory behaviour, unsafe conditions)
- Clarify reporting procedures for ethical or rights-related concerns
Delivery and Frequency
- Training will be delivered as a short module during staff induction
- It will be updated annually and made available online for all staff
- Refresher training will be required every 2 years or as policies change
Roles and Responsibilities
- HR and Leadership will oversee the design and delivery of training
- Managers are responsible for ensuring team participation
- Employees are expected to complete training and uphold the policy in practice
Monitoring and Review
Formbird will maintain records of completed training and review the program annually. Feedback from employees will be used to enhance training relevance and effectiveness.
