Automating your business processes empowers your organisation to produce predictable, consistent outcomes with shorter cycle times while reducing cost.
Formbird enables process automation through the concept of rule sets. When a form is filled out and saved it creates a data record but it also triggers rules to determine what happens next.
The form can be sent to another user or alternatively, to a queue representing a group of users that share a common role. Routing can be automatic or the initiator can choose from a list to determine who will next see the work item.
Work items can be automatically escalated based on any number of factors including, dollar value, risk, date and time or any other metric contained on the form. Formbird can apply your company’s rules to manage work queues in background to be sure that the most important work is always presented to the next available, qualified process participant.
If forms are routed to individuals with a work status that only allows them to view some of the data on the form, the form will morph to only show the data that is permitted to be seen by those individuals.
If information is needed from an external system, the form can route to a work step that uses automation to pull the information from an external source to populate the form. Or the automated work step can transfer the information on the form into one or more related systems, eliminating the need to double and triple key data.
Formbird can push work items or let users pull work items from queues. Supervisors can manage queues, set priorities based on real world events, accept work that has been routed to them by subordinates and redistribute work to individuals or pools of individuals.
Process metrics, including the volume of new work coming in, the number of work items being completed, the size of the backlog, the dollar value of the backlog and the average cycle time by category of work are captured and displayed in dashboards.
What ever your process automation requirement, Formbird makes it possible.
