The Nambucca Valley Council has selected Formbird – FLEET to manage its fleet of vehicles. Formbird Fleet will replace the legacy paper-based system, giving the council a holistic understanding of their vehicles and equipment.
Nestled in the picturesque mid north coast region, Nambucca Valley Council covers 1,491 square kilometres. With a population of 19,000. The area includes a mix of rural and coastal landscapes.
Formbird is only in the early stage of implementation, and they are excited by the opportunity to deliver next-generation fleet management to the council. Formbird FLEET will provide real-time insight into their fleet of 206 major and minor assets. As well, FLEET will reinforce the strong culture of preventative maintenance at the council depot in Macksville.
The implementation of FLEET at Nambucca Valley Council is an excellent opportunity for them to embrace the technology and take the leap into digitising their business and implementing the must-haves for operating a modern fleet.
In addition to the council’s fleet of vehicles, the council depot maintains vehicles for the Rural Fire Services’ vehicles.
Mark Hosking, Formbird CEO, was keen to share the announcement that Nambucca would be joining Bundaberg Regional Council in Northern Queensland and Cardinia Shire Council in Victoria as users of FLEET. “Working with councils and watching their transformation from traditional paper-based systems is one of the most rewarding parts of our work…In real-time, we see how regularly collecting data in the workshop builds a thorough history of vehicle maintenance and condition…The information provides the business owners with the essential information they need to implement replacement programs that recognise the value or the asset to the business”.
We look forward to hearing more from Nambucca as they progress in their journey to a better fleet with Formbird FLEET.
